Descrizione
The Catalinbread Soft Focus is based on the eponymous patch of the Yamaha FX500 and shapes a sound that will bring you right back to the sound of '90s shoegaze bands like Slowdive and Souvlaki. The Soft Focus is essentially an extensively modded plate reverb that puts a chorus modulator (Mod) and an octave-up (Symph) at your disposal so you can explore an ocean of fresh and tweakable sounds. Compared to the original patch, this dreamy reverb effect piles on a mix control, a more-than-solid preamp and, of course, true bypass switching without tone-suck.

Goede pedaalvorm van de yamaha soft focus reverb. Mooi synthachtig reverb geluid, waarschijnlijk dicht bij het oorspronkelijke geluid. Kan volledig wet, veel modulatie voor zweverige geluiden maar ook subtiel. Slowdive geluiden worden mogelijk. De symph knop is vrij subtiel.Die invloed op het geluid hoor ik nog niet zo goed. Gaat heel goed met een delay en drive pedaal samen.
